A/R Credit Limit Setup

I am trying to set up credit limits for customers and have only one I've set a limit for so far. All other accounts are set at zero dollars. My problem is the "exceeds credit limit" is popping up on SOME accounts and not on others even though I only have one single account with a dollar amount other than $0.

Any ideas on what setting(s) I have wrong?

Check your AR Setup Options; on Tab 3-Credit; the credit limit checking can be based on Customer Credit Limit, Customer Aging, or both. You may have it set to Customer Aging or both and it is alerting…

Also, if you have the DSD multi-currency enhancement, there are two fields for credit limit (with the second field only visible via the Currency button).

Check your AR Setup Options; on Tab 3-Credit; the credit limit checking can be based on Customer Credit Limit, Customer Aging, or both. You may have it set to Customer Aging or both and it is alerting you to clients with past due invoices, as well as the Customer Credit Limit Exceeded.

I have it set to both. I will change this and see if that helps.
