Standard Cost Adjustment utility

If I'm only updating standard cost valuation items, can I just import the new standard cost into the CI_Item table as opposed to using the Standard Cost Adjustment Utility?

With zero QoH (in any warehouse) that might work.

With QoH, updating Standard Cost for items using Standard valuation must go through the utility (because of the GL adjustments needed to re-value the inventory).
