How much international shipping do you do via UPS?  And how integrated to you want THAT shipping aspect to be with UPS?  If you are looking for simple domestic integration, the UDS sounds very interesting.  Perhaps Anthony will post it for others.  It is very easy to map the Sage SO header ship to address fields to UPS.  Put a bar code field for the SO number on the picking sheet to scan into a key field in Worldship.  If the UDS does not pan out for you, an enhancement is available from DSD to import the UPS data into Sage.  I use this at several clients.  I wish it would do more (allow flexibility) but it pushes most of the needs buttons.

I have spoken with Anthony.  Very nice guy with a relatively simple UDS solution.  As I told him, we are waiting to speak with UPS regarding their CrossWare product, which will be next week.  They said that they do have this available, but there was a cost associated with it.  This seems to contradict what others have said in this post .. but let's see.  It may be tied to total volume.  We do 30K+ a year via UPS.  I would think that would be enough to incentivize them to offer it gratis.  We will see.  Funny thing is that cost is not the driving factor at this point.  Anything suggested here would be factors of magnitude less than what StarShip charges.  Bottom line is we have a simple need for a single carrier for domestic shipments.  It shouldn't be that complicated .. or costly.
