Adding cost to serialized inventory

Question/scenario:  We are using Sage ERP Mas90 V 4.50.4.0

My company produces portable storage units.  I have a bill of materials that takes all of the individual pieces and creates a serialized inventory item.  Down the road the CPA decides we need to add cost to this serialized unit, labor, capitalized indirect costs, new expensive roof that has been added to the box.  Is there a way for me to add this cost to the box without removing the serialized inventory at the old cost and re-adding it with the new cost?  We are talking over 1000 serial inventory that need to be adjusted.


Any thoughts? Ideas? Solutions?  Anything would be appreciated,
