Split Sales order with a script

Question

Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone has been able to split a sales order into two separate orders based on line information using a script. Would something like that be feasible?

So the real issue is not being able to have the two warehouses invoice their portion of the SO without conflicting with each others work? That is a problem. 
 Perhaps use the Copy From function, then add a couple simple button scripts to "remove lines for warehouse ###" to speed up the copy / cleanup process? 
 
 The problem with trying to do it all in a script is all the fields you need to deal with... one by one. Unless you can script the "Copy From" function, which I'm not sure is possible. (If you have UDF's, check tab 3 for data flow for SO to SO...).
