Preface:
We are only on Sage 2014 for a few more weeks:...so no comments about how old it is..(smile)
A user created a custom filter for the Customer Maint table which included a value which is not in the UDT (user defined table) lookup
When the user clicks on the search mag glass ...error is displayed "No table entry for AR_UDT"
Assuming AR_UDT was a value the user put the filter.
For the time being, I created a new user, but is there a way to clear the filter?

You / they should be able to reset ALE filters from the lookup itself.
No option to modify to the filter (which I would expect). Displays the error message, no other option exists.
