Performance issue with ThreatLocker software install on Sage server

Solved

FYI,

We have run into two separate recent examples of client IT installing ThreatLocker to the Sage 100 server and that causing severe performance issues.

Uninstalling that software caused Sage 100 performance to return to normal in both cases.

Posting here in case others run into the same problem.

We are currently experiencing this issue.  We just added Threatlocker and our Sage 100 Contractor is performing very slow and then eventually we get a "fatal error" and Sage shuts down.  Our IT has put our server in learning mode and we have no issues.

we have Sage 100 Advanced v2023 running on a WIN2019 server. Threatlocker deployed on our servers and endpoints. Have never had an issue with it causing slowness or anything else problematic. Best practice is to make sure any workstation and server that Sage is installed on has been put into TL learning more before the installation. Whoever runs your TL software should also be able to "allow list" the Sage applications. If that is not practical (or if your issue is unique to Sage 100 Contractor) suggest working with your MSP or TL support.
