Remove third party modules from Installed Module listing

Does anybody know how to remove old, third party modules from the Installed Module listing in Sage 100? These module were installed back in V4.5 and were never fully implemented. After every upgrade of Sage 100 since, those modules are no longer there but they still show up on the Installed Module listing. The company that wrote the programs is out of business so they're no help in getting them removed! The purchase of the modules in the first place was a mistake and now my client has to be reminded of that every time they look at their Installed Module listing. Sage tech support wasn't able to help me. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Make a backup and proceed at your own risk. Incorrect changes to system files can render your system inoperative. Removing the "l" record from SY0CTL.SOA (as mentioned in Wayne's instructions) should be enough, if the module installation is already gone. Remember to take a backup!

There were no records in SY0CTL for these OLD modules from V4.5. I removed the records from SY_Enhancement.M4T and SY_ClassEnhancement.M4T and that did the trick! Thanks again for all your help!
