SQL "Alter Table" commands being run against AR_Audit, repeatedly?

We have a client (v2023 Premium) who added scripts to the MAS_### databases to monitor structural changes to their production systems.  The following activities (image below) were logged, with no known cause.  No UDF work was being done, nothing was being installed, and no system utilities were being run.  Changes logged were under the security context of "MAS_User", so it is some kind of Sage 100 process at work, but I have no idea what might cause this to happen.

At first I thought it might be some kind of special programming related to running the Customer Audit Report, but the client says they tested that without a repeat of this activity.

Any hints towards an explanation would be appreciated.

In testing Sage 100 2023 Premium using ABX demo data with Audit Tracking enabled; I'm able to see Inserts into the AR_Audit table when I make changes to a record in customer maintenance. I didn't see any other database activity using Profiler on the MAS_ABX database.

Any imports? CRM? A third part app or scripting?

It appears as though this is not limited to that table.  The client has just reported two more instances of this kind of activity, with no explanation.  (No system maintenance was being performed at the time...).

If anyone has any clues as to what might cause this, ideas would be appreciated.  The commands being logged as MAS_User implies something done by the Sage 100 service (or some kind of Sage program / utility), but what could possibly trigger SQL database data dictionary activities in a Live system? I don't see any actual changes, but those types of commands are... not normal.

No Product Update / hotfix was installed recently.  Company data conversion has not been run recently (AFAIK).
