Managing the Information Center in Sage 300 Desktop

Starting from the following versions:

Sage 300 2026 PU2
Sage 300 2025 PU5
Sage 300 2024 PU9 and later

The Information Center will automatically launch at the center of the Sage 300 desktop before a company is opened.

As shown in the screenshot below, if your organization prefers not to display this feature, it can be easily disabled.

How to Disable the Information Center

You can disable the Information Center by updating the A4W.ini file:

Locate and open the A4W.ini file.
Modify the following setting:
```
DesktopInformationCenter=0
```
Save the file and restart Sage 300.

After making this change, the Information Center will no longer appear on startup.
