We are excited to announce that two new payroll tax updates are available to download for Sage 300.

• Sage 300 Canadian Payroll Tax Update Q4 2024 SR1 includes new features and improvements. There are no federal legislative updates for Sage 300 Canada.
• Sage 300 US Payroll Tax Update Q4 2024 SR1 includes state and local legislative updates, as well as new features and improvements. There are no federal legislative updates for Sage 300 US.

To download the update:

1. Click the link below to download and install the applicable update:

• Download Sage 300 US Payroll Tax Update Q4 2024 SR1 

2. If you are prompted to log in, enter your Customer Portal Username and Password, then click Log In. 

Important notes: 

• To use this product update, you must have Sage 300 Canada and/or US Payroll 8.0, which is supported in Sage 300 2025, 2024 Product Update (PU)3, 2023 PU7, and 2022 PU8.
• If running Sage 300 2025 and Payroll Web Screens, Sage 300 2025 PU1 is required. If Canadian and US Payroll are installed, you must install the same Payroll Tax Update; otherwise, you will not be able to login to Sage 300 Web Screens. 

We highly recommend that all users update to the latest version to take advantage of the updates. 

Sage 300 Canada

Payroll Tax Update Q4 2024 SR1 includes the following product updates:   

• New option in the T4/T4A Reporting list on the Payroll Earnings and Deductions screen:
  • Box 94 - Indian (Exempt Income) & Box 52 - RPP Contributions
• Tax update date now shows correctly for French users in System Information
• Changes for T4 Box 94 and 95 to "Deduction" instead of "Earning"

Sage 300 US

Payroll Tax Update Q4 2024 SR1 includes the following tax changes and product updates:  

• State and local legislative updates
• In the Payroll Earnings and Deductions window, you can now create codes for benefits under Medicaid waiver payments
