Just Released: Sage 300 Canadian Payroll 8.0 Hotfix for incorrect amounts on T4 and RL-1 forms

We are pleased to announce the availability of a hotfix for Sage 300 Canadian Payroll 8.0. This hotfix replaces the two previously released hotfixes that addressed incorrect amounts on the T4 and RL-1 forms. This hotfix is intended for customers using the latest Sage 300 Canadian Tax Update Q4 2024 SR1 and resolves the following issues:

  • T4 Box 28 incorrectly shows the exemption checkbox checked for employees with CPP/QPP contributions and shows an incorrect amount.
  • T4 Box 26 has rounding issues for some employees who have CPP/QPP pensionable earnings.
  • T4 shows an incorrect QPP pensionable earning amount.
  • RL-1 Box G shows an incorrect QPP maximum contribution amount.
