[Help] How to post the u posted GL entry that accidentally booked 10 years ago?

I accidentally booked the entry in 2025 but our company stated in 2021. The GL entry now is sitting at the GL unposted entry. Is they any way I can post it? Without creating a new year? We don’t have the option to remove or delete the entry as well

    Hi Helen,

    If your current fiscal year is not 2025 and your GL entry is for 2025, then, you won't be able to post the GL and you will get an error batch. 

    There should be a Delete button in the G/L entry itself and there is also a Delete button in G/L Batch List if you want to delete it. See screenshots below. 

    If you don't see the Delete button in both screens, are you using UI Profile Maintenance and the buttons are hidden? If you want us to investigate further on this issue, please call in Sage 300 technical support at 1-800-253-1372 and we can go from there.

    Just go into the entry and change the date to the correct date so you can post it
