Can you go to Help - About Sage 300 and Click the System Info button?

Can you confirm that you have installed the Account Code Change 2024 (V71)?

If so, is there a Red Check Mark next to SG71A?

Here is a screenshot of my 2025 install. but you can get the idea. in my screenshot, Account Code Change is not activated in this specific Database that I am logged into.

To Activate, you have to logon as the ADMIN Sage user, then go to Administrative Services - Data Activation.. 

Make sure you have a backup of your database prior to Activating any module.. 

Then select Account Code Change 7.1A and click Proceed Buttong. 

If Account Code Change is not available to select, it's most likely because you haven't installed the program files. To fix that, go to Control Panel, or remount the 2024 ISO and when prompted to Modify, Uninstall, Repair, select Modify and choose the Account Code Change module and proceed to install it.

current version is V2023 product update 7, not V2024.

Below are print screens of modules and updates.

The g/l account change, ap vendor change and ar customer change are all V2018 product update 6.  All need to be registered a V2023 product update 7.

There are 3 test companies...the active live company has the v2018 activated.  1 test company is correctly registered on V2023 pu7a and 1 test company registered on V2018.  Followed your instructions for the test company using V2018 to the point where the current version options were displayed.  See print screen below.

Will test during the evening and let you know.

Successfully activated the gl, ap and ar change utilities in a test company database.

processed the gl account change and received an error message:

ERROR: AR68ARRD: critical error: [1212] invalid working directory path.

QUESTION:  any idea how to resolve the error?

I read the kb article. 

It says to make sure the 3 files listed below DO NOT EXIST.  And I confirm those files DO NOT EXIST in the 3rd party folder or any sage300 shared folder

Then it says to copy the files from another installation.  I don't have access to another installation.

Why does the resolution say to make sure they're not then and then it says to copy the files from another install?

Is the cause of the error that those 3 files are NOT there?

When the files listed below are procured do those files get copied into the 3rd party shared folder.

They have to exist.. if they don't exist you need to get them from somewhere.. if you don't have them, please open a support ticket and we can get them for you..
