Canadian Payroll T4 Electronic filing issue

There is a new field in the Transmitter II tab for electronic filing called Rep ID. Assuming this is the Represent a client ID. I have a few clients that don't use Represent a Client. The file will not generate without a number there and if the number is invalid the CRA rejects the file. What is the workaround for this? One client removed the <TransmitterRepID> from the XML file and that worked.

    Hi JLM,

    I have reported a similar issue to development.. it's related to the French character hot fix and in my troubleshooting, it is looking like Windows Defender is closing the process. 

    As a test, can you set an exclusion on your Windows Defender to not check the Sage directory?

    Hi David, I did get IT to exclude Sage300 program files and it is still crashing when trying to create the T4Efiles. If we don't replace the 2 T4 format files from the Hot fix Sage has provided, we have no issue creating the T4 efile but CRA is rejecting the file.

    "The error we get is The account number in the file you are importing does not match the account number you used to sign in. Please verify your file and try again."
