Aatrix updating issue

I have only had ONE Aatrix update go smoothly. I've still managed to get them all updated, except this one last one. I'm hoping rebooting the server has fixed the initial problem. 

I have downloaded the update files directly from the Aatrix site. Error messages. Applied the hotfix. Still won't install, says the install was interrupted. 

My question: I have a backup of a Taxfiling folder from a successful update. Can I just copy this onto the server which is not updating?  This would be for W-2's. I know that would put the latest forms there, but I'm concerned about the references to registry cleaning, and it looks like there is an Aatrix current version flag somewhere.  Also don't know if just copying new versions of the programs would work.  

I'm hoping that I get this resolved the "official" way or with tech support help tonight. If we can't get it resolved, then if the above would work, even if only temporarily, I would put the updated Taxfiling folder on.

    you can copy the TaxFiling folder from the working machine.. then run the UPDATER2.exe as Administrator, then run the ERRORREPORT.exe from the TaxFiling folder as administrator..
