Can you confirm if you have the SR1 Update installed? Should be January 31st update.

There is also a fix coming out today for T4 Electronic filing that will address another issue with French Character display.

Yes, the January 31, 2025 update CT80D, Update 2 is installed. The CRA representative said our software should not have anything in the Rep ID field but we cannot generate the file unless it has been filled in.

Try entering 7 zeros for the RepID. I have also edited an XML file to take the RepID section out altogether.

Tried zeros and did not work. I downloaded the update 2 and problem solved. Thank you!

Installed the Update 2, copied the 4 files CTT4AM.DLL, CTT4MM.DLL, T4ATRANS.FMT and T4TRANS.FMT. I can now generate the file but when submitting to CRA they reject it stating the Format is incorrect.

Any ideas?

I just helped a client by installing the PU2 and the T4-T4A hotfix.  We used the BN15 option with the full CRA business number including the RT0001.  We left the Rep Id field blank.

We were able to create the file and upload it successfully and accepted by CRA.
