Hello Mr_Mayor, 

Are you using just the standard Operation Modules in Sage 300 (like IC, OE, PO, etc) or do you also have 3rdParty Manufacturing Modules?  All these modules do accumulate records in the Statistics tables and there are standard statistic reports available.  If the standard reports are not suitable then you can always create custom reports using Crystal Reports.. Other than that, a consultant would probably need to be involved to create specific reports using Crystal Reports, etc..

operational modules yes, not really any third party manufacturing 

client wants to manually punch statistics in the system, things like tonnage achieved per month 

mostly for just recording the statistics, the quantities not the costs
