I'm actually running Sage 300 ERP and with the research i had, I discovered that i can use Crystal Report to customize the budget appraisal report. I just need deeper understanding on how to go about it.     

can you show me screenshot of this Budget Appraisal Report?  it's not a standard Sage 3000 Report was it created by your Sage Partner?

Yes, it's not a standard Sage 300 Report that's why I made mention of crystal report designer to Customize the Report. A client needs me to design it. here is the template of how the report will look like.

Oh ok.. sorry the question in your original post made it sound like the report was already created and you needed to customize it.. Crystal Reports does allow you to create custom reports. Crystal Reports doesn't come free with Sage.. are you planning to purchase Crystal Reports?  

You would then need to look at the table/field defintions in Sage using the Application Object Model (AOM) to determine what fields to bring in.
