The report runs fine on desktop, however when users run them on Web screens it hangs until the screen is forced to close. Please assist.

What report are you trying to print and what version of Sage and Product Update are your running?
Is the Sage.CNA Windows Service started on the Web Server?

Provided all the information in the header Sage 2024, PU4 and the issues is with the customer report in AR Customer Report.

There is only a A/R Customer Reports group of reports.. inside this group is the Customers Groups report, National Accounts,.. I presume the report you are talking about the "Customers" report?

ok.. then is the sage.cna service started? if you limit the range of customers does the report display?
we restarted the server but client needed to print for all customers
sometime when the server is restarted.. the Sage.CNA windows service does not start.. can you please confirm if the Service is started?

Hi Don Chichie I read DCrampton 's replies which will likely resolve it but in case its not a service, could you confirm whether your A/R Customers report is customised? I had a problem previously where a custom version of the Customers report would run on the desktop but not on the Web Screens. Also, does the report stop where it says "Processing" i.e.?:
If you're not sure whether your report is customised, try running it on the regular screens and check if the file path goes to a custom location (i.e. \custom_reports\AR71A\ENG) or the default one (usually \\Sage300Programs\AR71A\ENG).
Example of default path on the server:
If its the default path, check the filename to see whether the date stamp is 11pm (or another round XX:00 hour). If its not, its probably a custom report. Example of timestamps on the factory ARCULT01-06 Customers reports:
If you are running a customised report, try temporarily replacing the report file with a factory version to see if it works. Or if only one version is customised, change the report parameters to trigger a different template file.

The issues resolved without much intervention, It may be due to the numerous restart.
