Hello, I am currently doing processing EFT. After completing the EFT processing, I select the option “EFT Transaction Reports” to print and send the reports. However, the following error appears when the system tries to email the reports: “Error emailing xxxx@xxxx.com.au . The SMTP server requires a secure connection, or the client was not authenticated. The server response was: 5.7.57 Client not authenticated to send mail. Error: 535 5.7.139.” All emails are failing to send. Could you please advise what could be causing this issue and how it can be resolved? Thank you.

It's an SMTP authentication failure. In Sage check in common services > Company Profile > Email tab. Check use SSL. Verify the username, password and proper port are being used.

I have configured TLS. Should I change it to SSL instead?

Also, where can I configure the port number, and which port should be used?

I have already verified the username and password, and both are working without any issues.
