We're evaluating using the allocation function within SAGE to manage our monthly headcount allocation activities. Ideally, we'd like to use the template "Allocation Type" but it's not clear how this translates into the Process Allocations program.
Does anyone have a process diagram for how the allocations work? Trying to read through the documentation in the system and not having much luck figuring out how to process a template allocation type.
We process Allocations monthly based on a percentage of our budgeted head count to spread the total expenses of shared rent, services and supplies. In Maintain Allocations we create a template that has expense code used when the expenses are paid then what expense codes we want the percentages split to. Each month you then Process Allocations selecting the template you created in Maintain Allocations.
