You're light on the details and there are a lot of reasons this might occur, but if the customizations worked after the upgrade, then you may not have followed a correct database restore procedure, you restored a client image under a non-administrative permission set, or you're in an unsupported environment. You should review the customization levels that were enabled in the form or Manage Form Customizations and determine if disabling, then enabling them from these user interfaces works.

You should also document how customizer was used: to move, relabel, hide, etc., controls, script events against the form code or controls, access external applications or interfaces, shell to operating system resources, or interact directly with SQL or other data stores.
