Migrating from QB Desktop 2024 to Sage 50

SOLVED

What Sage product would I need in order to get a company file from the latest version of QB Desktop 2024 migrated into Sage 50? Doing it myself isn't the issue, it's finding the version of Sage that can read the newest version of QB data.

    • This is a Knowledgebase Article from Sage.
    • The conversion process in Sage 50 can convert QuickBooks data from up to three years previous.
    • Sage 50 2022 can convert QuickBooks versions 2019-2021, Pro, Premier, and Enterprise editions.
    • Sage 50 2021 can convert QuickBooks versions 2018-2020, Pro, Premier, and Enterprise editions.
    • To convert QuickBooks data that is older, the data may have to be sent in for our data team to convert it.

So it looks like the latest version of Sage 2024 will not convert your version of QB 2024 you would have to be on QB version 2023.

Perhaps if you have a QB version 2023 with a recent backup, Sage version 2024 would convert that data, but you may have to rekey some missing transactions from when you changed from QB 2023-2024, or you could export that specific data and import into Sage 50 2024.

Is there another way to make this conversion happen? We were forced to upgrade our QB Desktop client to QB 2024 and update all our files, so rolling back to QB Desktop Premiere 2023 isn't an option for us.

I have this same problem - come on Sage - provide support for the 2024 QB version in Sage 2024.   I refuse to pay $1000 for QB desktop renewal  and need to convert my company file into Sage now!
