I can see the announcement of resolution but the solution / update is for 2024. We are using 2023 and having the same problem. What should we do?
Try these steps on each computer that has the script error. Note: These may not work as the fix is for Sage 50 2024.
1. Close Sage 50.
2. Right click on the Sage 50 icon and choose Run as Administrator.
3. Open your Company in Sage 50.
4. At the top of the screen, click on Services and Check for Updates.
5. Click the Check Now button.
6. You should receive a message saying that there are no updates; click OK.
7. Close Sage 50.
8. Wait 30-60 seconds before restarting Sage 50 as normal.
For Sage 50 2024 Customers, these steps should be followed to install the in-product update.

followed the steps and the issue is still displaying. Did the process twice. I read it as it should be done on the user terminal since that is where the issue is displaying. Now the message displays twice after I click yes to move on.
You are on Sage 50 2023 and the fix was only released for Sage 50 2024, on subscription clients. That is why I mentioned that this fix may not work for you. There are no workarounds at this time other than upgrading.

we upgraged to 2024. At least we thought we did. This is the screen shot of the version we upgraded to a few months ago.
