Flip the debits and credit and reimport it as of 1935.  Not ideal but would reverse the previous entry.  Sage does not do well when importing into closed years so make sure to do a backup before importing anything else.  [email protected]

Thanks, that is how we fixed it. I am hoping there is some way that we can prevent Sage from letting us import to 1935 to begin with!

The only limitation when importing transactions into Sage 50 is that the transaction date cannot go beyond the end date of period 24—the final period in your two open fiscal years. Sage 50 does not offer any built-in options to define custom rules or validations for imports.
