Close Sage, then go back in and you should be able to back it up.
I have closed sage 3 times, still don't work.
If it still won't work. Try this. (copied from the knowledgebase)
If you need to restore and it still isn't working, open the sample company and go to File > Restore. Select the backup file, and on the next screen select Create a new company using the restored data. Then continue restoring the backup.
If the problem continues, restart Actian on the server and workstation. See How to stop or start the Actian Zen database engine.
In the instance that the problem still continues, uninstall and reinstall Actian Zen.
