Stuck on Activating: Contacting Sage Servers. This may take a few moments

Has anyone encountered this issue after a fresh install on a workstation? I am connecting to the server and that went fine, however first startup I have been stuck on this screen for over 45 minutes. Please help

You need to activate from the server. Not from the workstation.

This "stuck process" can also happen on the workstations, even if the activation has already taken place on the server. If this continues, you most likely have either a Firewall or Anti-Virus program blocking the elements of Sage 50 and Actian that are looking to validate your activation. Make sure that you exclude the Sage 50 installation path, Sage 50 shared data path, the Actian paths, and the Aatrix path, in any Firewalls and/or Anti-Virus programs. Also make sure the proper ports are open through the Firewall for Sage 50. The information in this Knowledgebase Article should help,
