Install the second July payroll tax update. Then install the 2026.1 upgrade again.

Thank you for your assistance. I recently completed both the payroll and 2026 updates, rebooted my computer, and now when I am trying to open Sage it gives me the below error:

Restarting Actian Zen will usually fix that.

1. Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc to open the Task Manager.
2. Select the Details tab and look for zenengsvc32.exe.
   • If Actian is running as an application rather than a service, look for zenengnapp.exe instead
3. Select that process and click End task at the bottom. Select End Process at the prompt.
4. Select the Services tab at the top. Click the Name column to sort by name and look for the service called zenengine.
5. Right-click the service and select Start.
