Backup Error

Question

Recently installed the new 2026 update and the first company i tried to backup comes up with the above error

termerins · Answer

When we have seen this in the past, this error appears (or a DYNAZIP errors) when an installation had problems completing. These problems may not be face forward and could be underlying. We have always safeguarded the client's data file folders and forms, and then uninstalled Sage 50, removed residual directories and Windows Registry Keys, and then reinstalled the software after rebooting. This has fixed the problem 100% of the time.
