Thanks for the insight.  I did that and the whole program will not open because it says "Peachtree cannot connect to your Peachtree data location."

Are you trying to access the external hard drive or have you moved the files?  If the files have been moved either the .INI file is pointing to the wrong data path (it's typically located under C:\Program Files or Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Peach and then it will named Peachtree180 for 2011) and you'll need to open it and change the datapath to the correct location or if the location is correct then it's an issue with the security or sharing rights on the folder.  If you need us to log in and take a look at it we can do that for you -- you can reach us 1-800-339-8224 or [email protected]
