In 2023 I had to process my W2's differently because I have employees in 3 states. I have tried to find out how to do that for 2024 but cannot find specific instructions. I don't want to mess up my W2/W3 process and trying to find instructions.

There are a couple of different options depending on how your employees are set up (multiple records for each employee, multiple state payroll fields on a single employee record, etc.). If you do have multiple records for the same employee then you can combine them when processing W2s, otherwise you many need to manually add the columns in the W2 preparer spreadsheet for the additional states. If each employee just works in a single state then as part of the normal W2 processing it should pick up all 3.
