Manage Payroll Sync Users

Solved

Sage 2024 up-to-date with patches and tax tables.

When trying to manage users that have access to the payroll sync process at https://ceum.na.sage.com/ after a successful login we receive the error message below. We've tried this from the server, from multiple desktops, and with multiple logins. We've tried to access it several times over the past several weeks and get the error message each time.

A problem occurred while processing your request.

Sorry, an error occurred while processing your request.

    Hi Ben,

Are you trying to manage users for direct deposit syncs through Sage 50?  If so you'll need to have the original email sign in and access the user management section under the sync wizard to add additional users (emails).  More details can be found below.

How to add a new user for Direct Deposit

    Thank you.

We are using the original email sign in with an account that already has full access to the direct deposit sync wizard. We're using the steps in that email and still receive the error message.

When the new user/email gets the invitation email from the DD service is the user clicking the links in the email to activate the email address?  If yes and your still having issues it would be best to reach out to our support team directly at 866-747-3888.

    Thank you.

We never even get to the point of managing users, as soon as we click the Manage Users link from inside Sage, or go directly to the URL, we get the error message immediately upon successfully logging in.

Donald, thanks for your help. I read the link more carefully and noticed this section:

    • If the user is to have access to User Management, they’ll need to activate it. Click the Visit User Management to invite other users link in the email to activate their User Management permissions

The invitation email does not make it clear that clicking this link one time is required in order for the User Management site to work. See below:

It might help other customers in the future if the User Management link in the email (rather than just the KB) was clearly labeled as an invitation the same as the Direct Deposit Services link in the sentence above it.

Regardless, this fixed my issue, and we were able to invite additional users.

    Thanks!

    Ben
