check stub

I need more than 15 lines for deductions on my payroll check. Is there a way to add more lines or is there a way to utilize the second stub to add more lines so I do not have to waste a check each payroll?

    Hi Samuel,

Yes you can customize the check form to have more than 15 lines (limited of course by the actual paper size).  There is also the option to turn on "Waste free check printing" in the check printing defaults (Maintain, Default Information, Check Printing).  This will allow you to print the 2, 3, etc. pages of the check on blank paper to avoid wasting check stock.

    Thank you.

If you just need one or two more lines, it's possible to add a couple more rows using the form designer. If you need more than that, and you don't care about keeping the second stub for your records, then we can modify the check format to print additional lines on the second stub instead of duplicating the information from the top stub.

It's not terribly difficult to do, but it's hard to describe in this setting. If you're interested in trying it yourself, I would recommend reading the sections in the help about form design, especially the part about command objects and field order.

If you don't want to tackle it yourself, you can contact me directly and I can give you an estimate of what it would cost.
