Slow Processing

Question

Is there any way to increase processing speed by reducing or removing Sales Invoice records. We currently have over 120,000 records and any invoice processing, especially importing records, takes forever. Support said closed records cannot be deleted and I cannot import a portion of the records to a new company. HELP!

 You could try purging out old records using the purge function (Task, System, Purge Wizard). You could also look into the company rebuild process which is detailed in the knowledgebase here. Many of the Certified Sage Partners that also frequent this community offer this (rebuild) service as well.
