We’ve just released the final service pack for 2023 (SP12) and the latest update for 2024 (SP6). These updates focus on compliance and behind-the-scenes fixes—and many of them come directly from feedback you’ve shared. Thank you for helping us improve!

This is the final release for 2023, so if you're still using an earlier version, now’s a great time to upgrade to the current version (2024)  and ensure you're fully up to date.

Here’s a quick look at what’s included:

In both 2023 SP12 and 2024 SP6:

• Added support for 1099 NEC Box 3 – excess golden parachute payments

Also included in 2024 SP6:
A few key fixes to improve your experience:

• Customer PO# field now enforces the correct 15-character limit - learn more
• Sales orders and quotes export list now displays the correct totals (up to 999) - learn more
• Resolved error when importing sales orders with discounts equal to the invoice total - learn more
• The Error: "Access Violation at Address 004A385D in Module 'Task0204.exe'..." no longer displays when emailing - learn more
• Voiding prepaid vendor invoices is no longer allowed, helping to prevent reconciliation issues - learn more

If you integrate with other Sage products, check with your business partner or Sage to ensure that these components are compatible.

1. Visit the Sage BusinessWorks Download Portal and select to download the appropriate service pack for your version.
   • To verify your version select Help, About
2. If you are prompted to log on, enter your Customer Portal Username and Password, and then click Log on.
