closing a company

I need to close a company and make sure EVERYTHING in it is put into another company.  It is my understanding I will have to re-key all of that into the company it needs to be in.  Is there a report I can run out of the company I am closing to make sure I capture everything that needs to be entered into the correct company. Or is there an easier way

    Hi Melissa-

    If you use the General Ledger, you can run a report on all the transactions that posted to the GL from all the modules.  Go to GL, Reports, Journal report and select your date range for your transactions.

    Otherwise, it depends on which modules you use and what transactions your post to each module.  Each module has a list of reports that you can run for your specific transactions.  For example, in AR and AP, you can run a Detail Report for the data range you need.
