I'm trying to figure out if this is feasible or not. We manufacture precast concrete products. Some of the products that we sell contain multiple components that must be shipped with the main component. Is it possible to build an assembly to streamline our office staff when entering the orders, but still show the breakdown on the sales orders or invoices?
The example I will use is our Heavy duty septic tank. If a customer orders one they get:
- 1 Septic tank base
- 1 Septic tank top
- 1 Compartment Baffle
- 1 Inlet baffle
- 1 Outlet Filter
- 3 Rolls of Tar Sealant.
We have each one of these as a separate part in BW. In the office, we have to enter each line individually. Is it possible to have it set up so we can just enter the main assembly of "1000 Gallon Heavy Duty Septic Tank" and it adds all the components?
I need all the components listed on the sales order or invoice to ensure that the drivers who are pulling the orders don't forget any parts.
