BusinessWorks 2013 Server Migration

Question

We are currently running BW 2013 on a Windows 2003 server. With Microsoft's impending end-of-spport of this server platform in July of next year, I am making plans to build a new server and migrate BW to it. I see that 2012 R2 is not yet listed as a supported server. Is that just because it hasn't been tested on that platform yet? Is there any plan to make it a supported server in the near future (either by testing or by Service Pack to make it compatible)? 
 I would just as soon use the latest Windows Server version available if possible and I have time to wait for it to become supported at this point, assuming there are plans to do such. 
 Also, where might I find documentation on how to migrate BW 2013 from one server to another?

 Sage BusinessWorks 2013 can be installed on Windows Server 2012-R2 as long as you install Sage BusinessWorks using the normal GUI install and not a command-line install.

 Resolution 
 Whenever possible, Sage BusinessWorks Support recommends using the Sage BusinessWorks backup utility to create a backup file of your company data and system files. The Sage BusinessWorks system files include users and passwords, security settings, registration information and custom forms. 
 For more information see the attachment titled "2013 Moving to a New Server Checklist.pdf." 
 On the original server, use the Sage BusinessWorks Backup utility to create backups of the company data files and system files (This can be accessed by selecting File, Backup). 
 On the original server, select Help, About and verify the version and service pack installed. 
 Note: The version at the new server has to be at least the same version of Sage BusinessWorks. It is recommended that the installation on the new server be the most current version of Sage BusinessWorks. 
 On the original server, Select Utilities, Registration Information, Network Registration and make note of what it says to the left of the OK button. If it states WorkGroup you will need to enter WG as the product code when installing on the new server. If it states NT Server you will need to enter CS as the product code when installing on the new server. Note: It is important to install with the correct product code as your registration codes are dependent on the type of installation. 
 Create and share a SAGE folder at the new location or server, and give it full Share and NTFS rights to all users (for example, ..\Sage). 
 Perform a complete installation of the most recent version of Sage BusinessWorks at the new location to the folder created in step 2. Note: Since all of our releases are full releases it is OK to upgrade versions of Sage BusinessWorks while moving to a new location. 
 Log into Sage BusinessWorks installed on the new server as MANAGER with a blank password. 
 Use the Sage BusinessWorks Restore utility (This can be accessed by selecting File, Restore) to first restore the System database and then each company data files on the new server. 
 Verify that you have the current Service Pack for the version installed by accessing the Sage Customer Portal. 
 After installing to the new server, and verifying that the data, custom forms and users are all available and working correctly, back up and uninstall Sage BusinessWorks from the original server and all workstations. 
 From the Windows Start menu, point to Settings, and click Control Panel. 
 Double-click Add or Remove Programs. 
 Click Sage BusinessWorks Client, and click Remove. 
 This helps to prevent confusion when determining the correct paths for future Sage BusinessWorks installations. 
 Uninstall the Pervasive engine from the original server using the Add or Remove Programs. 
 From the Windows Start menu, point to Settings, and click Control Panel. 
 Double-click Add or Remove Programs. 
 Click Pervasive, and click Remove. 
 Run the client installation at all client workstations (in Windows Explorer, go to Sage\BWProg\Client Setup folder on the server and run autorun.exe). 
 After installing to the new server, and verifying that the data, custom forms and users are all available and working correctly, back up and delete the Sage BusinessWorks programs and data at the original location. This helps to prevent confusion when determining the correct paths for future Sage BusinessWorks installations.

Sage BusinessWorks 2013 can be installed on Windows Server 2012-R2 as long as you install Sage BusinessWorks using the normal GUI install and not a command-line install.
