We have three takeoffs in our system right now. I'm currently only able to edit one of them. The others I can open and look at, but not edit.

Is it this?
If you have migrated from version 19 to 20, you will need to create a new SQL login as "Supervisor" and then create that user name in the program. Log in with that name, reopen the takeoff and close normally.
Then you should be able to log in with the other user name.
When a takeoff is opened, Sage 100 Contractor (Sage 100CON) writes the user's login name in the Current Editor field of the takeoff table. This prevents someone else from opening the takeoff and making changes while the original user is editing the takeoff. When the user closes the takeoff, their name is removed from this field.
If Sage 100CON is closed abnormally, this field may stay populated.
If a user is on a terminal server session, and closes the session ("X" in corner) without exiting the takeoff window, the takeoff is still open and the lock is correctly in place.
The takeoff will unlock when the locking user closes it.
If the locking user does not currently have the takeoff open, have the locking user follow these steps:
If the above steps don't work and when you log in as the user mentioned in the message and still cannot open the takeoff because of the message, please reach out to Sage Support for more assistance using the Chat link below
If the problem happened with an employee who doesn't work there anymore, AND the user name was removed, the user name will have to be recreated in 7-2-2 User List. Then log in as that user, and follow Steps 1-3 above. Log back in as yourself, and you should be good.

Hi Char! No, that was not the issue. It was a me issue! I thought the lock icon column that gives the prompt "Double click to lock a row and prevent updating the cost" only locked the cost and dollar amounts. But, it locks the entire row. I just misunderstood the prompt.
Glad you figured it out
