Is it possible to make a cost code for a particular job inactive?

JC Cost codes can have a status of unstarted/In Progress or Complete. 
 There is not a way to sett the status to Inactive. Cost codes with no amounts posted to it can be deleted. 
 You can set a cost code to complete (In Setup, Cost codes) so a warning is returned if someone tries to make an entry to the cost code, but it will still allow the user to proceed if they respond YES to continue on the warning message. 
 Status 
 Displays the current status of the cost code. If no costs have been posted, the default status is Unstarted . Posting costs to the cost code changes the status to In progress . Posting estimates and commitments do not affect the status. You must manually select Closed to specify that the cost code is complete. You can change the status at any time. 
 Note: The system displays a warning if you make an entry to a completed cost code, but you can still proceed.
