Sage 300CRE Subscription licensing vs Perpetual licensing.

Question

If a Sage 300CRE perpetual user converts to Sage 300CRE Subscription licensing. What happens to the access to the applications and the data if the user stops paying for the subscription and lets it lapse?

Hi Brett, 
 If a customer has migrated to subscription from a perpetual plan, and decides to let the subscription lapse there are different answers depending on the type of subscription, product line that is used, and their version. 
 
 For Sage 300 CRE on a monthly subscription - if there is an issue with the monthly payment or they opt to not renew, they will lose access to the solution until payment is resolved. 
 For Sage 300 CRE on an annual subscription - if there is an issue with their payment or they opt to not renew, they have a 60-day grace period before they lose access to the solution. 
 For Sage 100 Contractor on a monthly subscription using a version prior to 23.2 - if there is an issue with the monthly payment or they opt to not renew, they will lose access to the solution until payment is resolved. 
 For Sage 100 Contractor on an annual subscription using a version prior to 23.2 - if there is an issue with their payment or they opt to not renew, they have a 60-day grace period before they lose access to the solution. 
 For Sage 100 Contractor on either an annual or monthly subscription using version 23.2 or later - if there is an issue with their payment or they opt to not renew, the solution will switch to a &ldquo;Read Only&rdquo; mode until payment is resolved. 
 
 For Sage 300 CRE there is no "Read Only" option available at this time. If a Sage 300 CRE customer requires continued historical access to their data a request can be made to by reaching out to CRESubscription@sage.com . 
 If a customer is unable to pay their license renewals, we encourage them to reach out to their Sage partner or email CRESubscription@sage.com to determine the best options and limit disruption to their business. 
 If a customer is no longer using Sage 300 CRE subscription or Sage 100 Contractor subscription because they have migrated to Sage Intacct, we encourage them to reach out to their Sage partner or email CRESubscription@sage.com for options.
