It may be that you need to reinstall the TS PDF printer found in the article.

Would it be a TS PDF printer if it is export to excel?

I think it's what Sage uses for Excel.   You could also print to txt file and then open Excel and open the txt file using Excel.

Unfortunately this didn't fix our issue. Any other ideas? I think we are going to uninstall excel and re-install it now.

Why not use the odbc driver and pull the info directly into excel....skip the "export"/print step

Here is a post where i added some screenshots.  To get the data, you need to write excel VBA macros to pull the info...also some is pushable back to the database.  Other option is to use the "newer" excel data power query (my brother uses this more since he doesn't know VBA very well)

Setup a "connection" to your data in 32bit ODBC driver

Grab data you want

Place in excel sheets and cells.
