Setting up MyAssistant Conditions

How can I set up a MA condition to let me know when someone changes or adds information in Address Book?

    While there are not any default tasks or built-in conditions related to Address Book, you can create one or one can be created by your business partner.

    Depending on what your needs are, you can be prompted to run a task when someone closes out of,

    AB: Company Settings, Company Setup, Custom Descriptions, Custom Fields, File Locations, File Tools, Formula Setup, Log Viewer, Macros, New Issue, Person Setup

    You can also create a task(s) using multiple schedules that could poll the data when desired and return any new results based on the scheduled times.

    For example, it could be as simple as the default Report Distribution>Send a Report task.

    If you wanted to possibly receive an email every hour (requires an additional daily schedule for every hour) with newly added AB Persons you could create a task and a condition that is nothing more than generating the list of Persons.  ( "ABM_MASTER__PERSON"."Contact_ID"= "ABM_MASTER__PERSON"."Contact_ID" ) Your Email section could provide you with additional information like the individual’s name as well as various other desired details. In the Notification Options section, you will want select Notify once. This will result in receiving a full list of AB Persons in your company on the very first run, but in subsequent runs Sage MyAssistant will find all AB Persons, but will only send an email with new Persons that have not been emailed to you previously.
