Estimate Template

Hello,

Can someone please point me in the direction of building a custom estimating detail report for Items summed by location? I have gone through all the templates and can not seem to find one that will capture the way that my company would like. I know that I can do this by division, but we use location as a sort of "phase" estimating approach and need to be able to break the estimate down by items in a "phase." 

Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

    Well a few ways, but perhaps the easiest is to click on the estimate details report icon, choose report options...,click on the sort tab, from the Available Sorts field list, scroll down and select location and use the .. arrow button to move that selection to the right, the use the up arrow to move that to the top priority sort.  You can leave the Summary Level at detail.  However you can summarize at various levels all the way up to Location.

    The other way would be to print a spreadsheet report and choose the prefill from spreadsheet if your spreadsheet layout is showing you exactly what you want to print.   You can always create sort sequence tabs and save the layouts under those tabs for future use.
