how do i automatically reorder the cost codes and items by cost code instead of by selection order?

Question

I need to re order the cost codes and items by their cost code. How can this be done easily and not individually, one at a time. Especial sense sage allows two items to have the same order number?

Hi Ben, 
 You can click the checkbox at the top of the list to select all of the cost codes, then click Bulk Actions and select Reset Cost Code Numbering:
