  • It does not appear that the suggested formulas provided in the KB account for the 6 month lookback when calculating the employees regular rate of pay.  are there any suggestions for that requirement?

For purposes of the FFCRA regular rate, employers have 2 options:

    • An employer can review the weekly regular rate for a period of up to six months prior to the date the employee takes the leave and average all of those regular rates; OR
    • An employer can compute the regular rate by adding all compensation that is part of the regular rate for the period of up to six months prior to the date the employee takes the leave and divides that sum by all hours actually worked in the same period.

Note, when determining the regular rate, if an employee is paid with commissions, tips, or piece rates, non-discretionary bonuses, those wages will be also need to be incorporated into the regular rate of pay calculation.

I cannot get these pays to work.  Talked to Sage and they looked at my setup and said everything looks great, but it will not pull a check for the 40 hour week.

Did you ever get a reply on this? Looking for some guidance on this. Thank you.

  • Also, I was testing the 941 computation of the employee retention credit through Aatrix today.  I noticed that the Aatrix Form 941 does not compute correctly for those of us using the employee retention credit instead of the PPA.  When the credits are entered in Aatrix on the 941, Aatrix wants to plug the difference to make the form work through the fractions of cents line 7 on page 1 of the 941.  There does not seem to be anyway override the fractions only line, it automatically prefills with no editing.  Any articles on this issue?   People filing their 941s for the 2nd quarter are going to be seeing the same thing I do...unless I am missing something.  Any guidance?  Than you.

We found that Schedule B is used for your liability not actually what you owe/paid. When we changed the amounts the issue with line 7 went away.
