Data base item change date

A general and important question

When you insert a item into the estimate from the database the change date is the current date.

What I want to know can a column for the data base change date be visible in the estimate file.

This would make it easier to review prices and target the material prices to chase after.

Also with the update data base tick box, updating the data base can be done continually during the year and less time consuming at year end.

We are using SQL ver. 21.1

Thank you for you insight on this

    Allan,

No you can't. only shows change date. it means for  LMSEO should have 5 columns dates.

But in fact these above 5 columns are existed in the database, must export to excel and check together.

This is what I found at   Sage Estimating SQL: Display The Date When Data Base Item Was Last Updated - Not Entered Into The Estimate (v1ideas.com)

Per the "Help File", The date that the "Material", "Labor", etc. cost was created can be made visible in the estimate. Currently the only column I have found that can be made visible, is the date the item is added to the estimate. It would be helpful if this feature would work as described so an estimator without admin rights can actually see how old a price is.
