Purging Fixed Asset Data

I am new to SAGE fixed asset software; can someone provide me with the correct process for purging disposed assets? Thank you

    Hello Pam,

    The design of the program is to keep those old disposals for historical purposes. That way if you need to run depreciation back to a date when that asset was active, it will appear that as it was then. The Depreciation Expense report and any other date-sensitive reports will only show current year disposals.

    There is no designed purge of prior year disposals. You can only inactivate those assets to prevent them from appears on non-date sensitive reports. See How to inactivate an asset for more information.
