User unable to connect to system database

I have a user that is unable to connect to the system database but works after we uninstall sage fixed assets and reinstall for him. This has happened multiple times and we can't have uninstaill-reinstall as a permenant solution. Does anyone know what could be the possiable root cause for this?

    Without information, the details of the configuration, I am useless. I need details to me constructive.

    I might suggest looking at you firewall policies and/or Anti-viral programs, if it is working after an uninstall/install then stops, that suggests something is changing. If it is not in the SFA configuration as laid out in the articles, then it has to be in the environment.
